PATATAS BRAVAS

It's time. It's time for another recipe don't you think?

It's this time of year I love to indulge in potatoes. Any variety of potatoes pass me that little beauty of a carbohydrate and get it in my mouth.

It's wintery, its getting colder, pass me a blooming spud.

I have teamed up with Alhambra to bring you my one of my all time favourite potato dishes. I love it that much I like to eat as a main to be perfectly honest. Hello Patatas Bravas.

I am a sucker for a spice and even more of a sucker for a spicy potato so here is what you will need.

600g potatoes (Maris Piper or Kind Ed's are best)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Sprinkle of salt and pepper
2 tins of plum tomatoes - You can of of chopped but I'm well fussy with tomato skin.
3 red chillis
4 cloves of garlic crushed up
Handful of chopped parsley for a little bit of garnish

Here we go!

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

Peel them carbs up and cut into little cubes.

Heat the oil in a big tin or tray until it's super hot, then pop in the potatoes and give them a shake till they are covered in oil.

Sprinkle over salt and pepper and put in the oven for around 10 mins until they go golden brown.

Next chop up the tomatoes.

Chop the chilli - I do like a kick so I left the seeds in.

Squidge up 4 cloves of garlic.

Then add this all to your pots.

Give it all a good blooming stir.

Cook up for another 30 mins till the potatoes are all crispy and delish.

Sprinkle on some parsley and serve up with an ice cold Alhambra Beer*.

These potatoes are yummy cold too so you can make up a huge batch and enjoy for like, ever.
