DON'T WASTE FOOD - A #WASTELESSJOURNEY

I am a huge foodie. I love food. I love talking about food. I love looking at food. Around 90% of my conversations always end up talking about it. Like, this is no joke. This is why I surround myself with fellow food lovers.

I decided to get on board with the #wastelessjourney campaign and came up with this.

CHOCOLATE, BANANA & PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES

Who doesn't love a brownie? Who doesn't love a peanut butter brownie? (I will let you off if you have a nut allergy - you can make these bad boys without the peanut butter too...) Who doesn't love a peanut, chocolate AND banana brownie? The world has gone mad for it and I for one have fallen into this naughty trap. I say naughty, THESE brownies are only 150 calories each and packed full of protein goodness.

CANTON TEA

I have not done a Tea of the Week post for quite some time. What am I playing at?  Life's been crazy busy and I have not even done a whole lot of tea drinking either, but when Canton Tea sent me these delightful leaves I took time out to enjoy them with some of my favourite tea ladies.

ANNIE SLOAN

I love a good bit of DIY - like I really do. I class my whole shop refit as a DIY - it was me and a few friends that got The Olde Young Tea House renovated and open in 8 weeks. Crazy. Take a peek at the Before and After, now that was a good few weeks of pizza eating and comfort margaritas.

Back to business: a few weeks bac,k the lovelies over at Concept invited me along to come and take a sneak peek at their Annie Sloan collection and see if I wanted to try a little bit of DIY out myself. I was not going to decline as this shop is the sweetest little place!

URBAN ORANGE WISH LIST

I just can't get enough of this burnt orange colour. It is in ever shop I pop in, right there in my face like... Look Carli this should be your new colour...

It is very very Autumnal, and I think that is why I am so drawn to it. Such a warming colour and I  think of those leaves crunching beneath my feet.. But wait it's still summer. I am wishing my seasons away.

I can dream though, and start getting my autumn wardrobe in shape...like now can't I?

HEY VANILLA!

Another week, another Tea Lady Wears. I know, I know, and to think I was scared to death about how I would look when attempting to take photos for fashion posts. Where would I take my photos? How would I edit them? Would I have the guts to even post them out? And here I am in Middlesbrough's unpredictable summer on a wet, wet weekday in July.

MINK & STONE

I love a good piece of jewellery. As long as it's big, bold and preferably made from wood. A good old statement piece. I am not really one for delicate chains and bangles, as being a tea lady can be pretty tough going and I know that something delicate would totally get ruined, snapped or even lost. I need durable jewels to glam me up.

I was lucky enough to be able to try out the new site from Mink & Stone and make my own piece of jewellery. How cool is that?

SUMMER WISH LIST - NEW LOOK

I am feeling a vibe of yellow this summer. I have already cracked out a new wardrobe featuring a heck of a lot of white, so I thought a little injection of this summery colour would do no harm.

I have teamed up with New Look to create my ultimate summer wish list.

I may or may not have already purchased am ample amount of these wishes already.

HOOKER AND YOUNG - 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

I have been on a blogger event roll these past few weeks and absolutely loving life.

Not really one for hair and beauty but tea bees... I am getting there.

I headed over to Darlington with fellow blogger babe Beth Dean from Polished Couture for an evening of pampering and cocktails with Hooker & Young.

TEA LADY WEARS - ROSA ROSA

Summer is in full swing here in smoggy land, but handling them rays is something we are adjusting to. Weather is a hot topic for everyone, not just here but everywhere. We all love to natter about the blooming weather. "It's too close and humid" to "it's too bitter and cold" - the weather is one thing we will never agree on.

This beautiful dress on the other hand, I think you will all agree is super summer ready. I got that summer feeling all the way down to my toes.

SUMMER MUST-HAVES WISH LIST

I am off on my jolly's in just under two weeks and these are my must haves to keep me feeling A-OK!

I am a girl of simplicity so this should be a good list for anyone who is as low maintenance as me.
