PSYCHE E-COMMERCE LAUNCH

I was invited to Psyche to take a peek at the brand spanking new e-commerce site that has been designed by award winning e-commerce specialists, Visualsoft. This launch, along with a catwalk show of Psyches Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, was just right up my street.

RUDE GROOMING

Here we have my first 'guy' post. As you know, I am one for supporting my independents and all that, and why not!? We have some super places in Teesside that really get my juices flowing.

I want to introduce you to Middlesbrough's first male only hair salon: 'Rude Grooming'.

REAL MEALS

I am very lucky to have spent my childhood growing up in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

Saltburn is a Victorian town with plenty of history which I could talk about all day long. I mean we had smugglers that used to come from the sea in boats and snuggle alcohol and other bootlegged goods up through the cliff in little tunnels to the houses hundreds of feet above. It actually blows my mind the stories my home town has to offer.

THE TEA BEES - PART 2

Didn't Febuaray come and go like soooo fast? I did manage to scratch off one of my travel top fives, but boy oh boy we are like a third through the year already.

THE SHORTHORN INN

My lovely bunch of friends love eating out as much as me. As we are quite a big group sometimes it is hard for us all to come together and make a mate date but we always find the time. For this date we headed away out into the sticks to Appleton Wiske.

LUSH MIDDLESBROUGH - VOLUME 3 FRAGRANCE LAUNCH

I was invited along to check out Lush's new perfume range and their delightful Mother's Day products last week. This was the first blogger event Lush Middlesbrough has done and it was just brilliant.

BROMPTON LAKES

I managed to get a weekend away to reflect on not only how fast this year is going, but also what's next for The Olde Young Tea House; how I want to further my little tea empire; and of course tick off a few personal goals.

Brompton Lakes are near Richmond in North Yorkshire. I know, I know, I do know how lucky I am to have the most amazing places on my doorstep. The North isn't all that bad...

We arrived and it was the most perfect setting for a relaxing weekend away. Right next to the River Swale. You could hear the ice cold water rushing down stream. It is the fastest flowing river in England. Check out my river facts!
