ALOE ALOE!

So I am little obsessed with tea, we all get that. I love a good Earl Grey. Duchess Earl Grey is my all time favourite with it's zesty, limey flavours.

The blend of Earl Grey has a distinctive flavour. It is the oil extracted from the rind of the bergamot orange. The bergamot tree only blossoms in winter which makes having a brew of Earl Grey on a cold winter day that little bit more special.

Bergamot is not only a flavour I like to drink, it is also really good for your skin and helps you to  relax caused from those day to day stresses.

Another favourite this summer has been Aloe. Aloe has been my summer saviour. After my holiday I burnt like a fried chicken so this extract has been helping get my skin back on track, soothing my burnt burnt skin.

I thought I would show you what I have been using recently to chill me out and get my skin feeling radiant again.

I want to introduce you to AA Skincare - It is a new natural skincare range from Amphora Aromatics. The range combines delish smelling natural oils such as Almond & Sandalwood, Seaweed & Aloe and check this one out, Frankincense and Rose.

Although I am not a fan of roll on's, this Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant* is really not too bad. A whole lot better for the environment too. It is the perfect size to pop in you bag and have with you all day long.

I do tend to have quite sensitive arms and this Aloe really soothes. It doesn't block pores or irritate my skin.

The branding is so fitting with all the ingredients in this range. I love the pastel colours.

A 50ml bottle is £4.94 - go on give it a go.

My skin has been going through a teenage breakout recently. I know this is down to not drinking enough water and taking care of my cleansing, toning and moisturising. I mean it's three simple steps, twice daily and I can't seem to grasp that. I thought I would try out this Aloe Calming Toner from The Body Shop. I am currently using
Super Facialist Probiotic Micellar Cleasning Water which is super good on my skin followed by this Aloe Calming Toner and my HydraQuench from Clarin's.

A 200ml bottle is £9.50.

One more Aloe product that has been keeping my skin in check is this Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter . I needed something a little more deep moisturising than a cream to help with my peeling. Gross. This keeps my skin super soft and flake free for around 12 hours. Smells like a dream too, just like holiday.

A 200ml tub is £10.50 - Well worth it to smell like coconuts all day long.

Let's get back onto the Bergamot train. Toot Toot.

I am quite a newbie to Lush but am becoming quite am expert at what my skin loves and loathes.

I have been loving their range of massage bars. Not only do they last a good few times they are super moisturising too. My skin LOVES them.

When I spotted the Avobath Bath Bomb I knew that was going 'Straight in my basket'.

This is for when you need that little pick me up.

Murphy's favourite was the Shades of Earl Grey the dirty dog!

This is what he said - " I like the shape of the bar and the colour reminds me of Oscar the dog next door. It smell's just like me when I come back from the hairdressers just before I jump in muddy puddles and roll around in mud" I then went on to tell him that it is full of refreshing, cleansing, protecting and hydrating ingredients but he soon lost interest and ran around the house with a bra in his mouth.

Avobath Bath Bomb // £3.35

Shades of Earl Grey // £5.95

I love this little Aloe and Bergamot haul. What are your go to products to keep your skin on top form? x
