I wanted to make up something fast, simple and of course healthy. Something that would last a few days and that I could throw in my bag and nibble wherever I may be.
These are super easy - Super Food, Super Easy!
Nutrilent Super Food contains Whey protein, Oat, Soy, Vitamins, Maltodextrin and Fruit Powder.
Nutrient itself is intended to be a food supplement or meal replacement depending how often you consume it (up to three times a day).
I blooming love to bake with it as it takes soon yummy.
Cue the Super Food Coconut Balls. I teamed up with Nutrilent to roll up these delights.
What you will need:
3 cups of pitted dates
2 scoops of Chocolate Nutrilent Super Food
2 scoops of Vanilla Nutrilent Super Food
1 and a half cups of flaked almonds
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
Half a cup of warm water
1 cup of coconut flakes
Let the games begin..
Blend up the dates up in a blender.
Until they resemble something like this.
Pop in the almonds and water and blend, blend, blend!
Truth be told my blender was not actually a blender but a Blend-Active and didn't really crush the almonds to how I wanted them to be. They turned out super fab anyway, just a little crunchier.
Now add the almond and date mixture.
I reeled in a little help from my neighbour Pennie and without me even thinking. These are definitely something perfect for the kiddos to get their hands stuck into. Literally.
Then you will ALWAYS need a taste tester right?
Yes! They are good to go.
Now you need to roll 'little balls, little balls'
And before you know it Miss Penny face planted the entire lot.
I got to give it to her, she did try and wait throughout the whole process while I snapped away.
You have just got to make these up with a little one. I borrowed this child from my neighbour and we had the BEST time. She even went to sleep saying 'Carli's little balls'.
Does that mean I have officially made it?
I would LOVE to know what you guys would make up with Nutrilent's Super Food.
I am giving away 3 packs of these delights so make sure you leave a comment with your email and give Nutrilent a follow on Facebook and Instagram. I will pick the winners on Wednesday 12th of August, so do stay posted.
Happy ball rolling x
