HELLO TEA LOVERS!
I'm Carli and I am the brewer, baker and brains behind the The Olde Young Tea House. I set up my little shop 6 years ago after leaving the big city lights of London behind me to come back to my roots and become a tea lady. As a flourishing independent, which is business brewing up a storm in Teesside, I am in love with my town and what it has to offer. I love supporting new ventures and trying out new places, which will most likely end up here on this blog.
HOT OFF THE PRESS
The Olde Young Tea House has been featured in various publications ranging from The Guardian to BBC Good Food. Other titles include Living North, NARC, The Paperbird, the Evening Gazette, Fancy a Cuppa by Simon Duffin and more. We have been featured on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch and will be appearing live again this Christmas. We have been featured in numerous blogs as well as being apperaring on BBC radio.
With lots going on at Tea House HQ I thought it would be great to set up this blog to feature some of the amazing events and Tea Lady tales that are to be told.
Don't be shy and say hi x
Really liked what I saw on Sunday Brunch the other day. I'm looking forward to trying your iced tea recipes.
